Walking
From the center of Caldas da Rainha, head southwest on Rua Dr. José Sampaio towards Avenida 1 de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Follow this road as it becomes Rua da Liberdade, passing by local shops and cafes. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto the N8 road towards Foz do Arelho. After a short distance, look for signs directing you to Praia da Foz do Arelho. Follow the signs, and after approximately 3 km, you will arrive at the beach.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Caldas da Rainha. Start at the Praça da República and head southwest towards Rua Dr. José Sampaio. Follow the same route as for walking, taking Avenida da Liberdade and continuing on to the N8 road. Keep cycling towards Foz do Arelho, which is about 5 km from Caldas da Rainha. The route is mostly flat, making it a pleasant ride to the beach.

From Caldas da Rainha, walk to the main bus station, which is located near the Praça da República. Look for the bus route heading to Foz do Arelho. The buses typically run every 30 minutes. Once you board the bus, it will take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach your stop at Praia da Foz do Arelho. After getting off the bus, follow the signs to the beach, which is just a short walk away.
