Getting There

Train
From Cascais, head to the Cascais Train Station located in the town center. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon, specifically to the Cais do Sodré station. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and walk toward the Rua da Prata. You will need to transfer to the Metro. Take the Green Line towards Telheiras and get off at the Rossio station. From Rossio, exit the station and head toward Praça da Figueira. From there, you can catch the Tram 28 towards Martim Moniz. Get off at the stop named 'Miradouro de Santa Luzia'. From the tram stop, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Largo de São Vicente. Follow the signs leading to the church.

From Cascais, make your way to the Cascais Bus Terminal. Take the bus number 417 towards Lisbon. The bus will take you to the Campo de Ourique area in Lisbon. Once you arrive, you will need to walk to the nearest Metro station, which is Rato. Take the Yellow Line towards Odivelas and transfer at the Marquês de Pombal station to the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the Santa Apolónia station. From Santa Apolónia, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Largo de São Vicente. Walk along the Rua da Cintura do Porto de Lisboa until you reach the Largo de São Vicente.

Walking
If you are already in the central area of Cascais, you can take a leisurely walk to the Igreja de São Vicente de Fora. Start from the Cascais Marina, and head towards Avenida Dom Carlos I. Continue along the Avenida until you reach the train tracks, then cross the tracks. Follow the signs towards the Estoril coast. Walk past the Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães and keep going straight until you reach the Praça da Alegria. From there, follow the signs to the Largo de São Vicente. It’s a scenic route that will take you through some picturesque areas of Cascais.
