Car
If you're driving from central Sintra, head southeast on Avenida Dr. Alfredo da Silva. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the A16 motorway. Merge onto the A16 towards Lisbon and continue for approximately 25 kilometers. Take exit 2 towards IC19/Lisbon. Follow IC19 for about 8 kilometers, then take the exit towards Av. de Berna. Continue straight until you reach the city center. When in Lisbon, follow signs for Alfama and the Castle of São Jorge. Finally, park in a nearby public parking area and walk to Largo de Santo Estêvão, where the church is located.

To reach Igreja de Santo Estêvão using public transportation, start at Sintra train station. Take the train to Lisbon (Cascais Line) and get off at Rossio station. From Rossio, walk to the Rossio Metro Station and take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Change at Baixa-Chiado station to the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at Santa Apolónia station. From there, exit the station and head towards the riverfront. Walk up towards the Alfama district, following the signs to Largo de Santo Estêvão. The church will be located at Largo de Santo Estêvão 13.
