If you're starting from the city center, head towards the famous Praça do Comércio. From there, walk along Rua Ferreira Borges until you reach the intersection with Rua do Arco de Almedina. Turn left onto Rua do Arco de Almedina and continue straight. You'll pass by the historic Almedina Arch on your right. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street, where you should turn right onto Rua da Sofia. After a short distance, take the first left onto Rua do Quebra Costas. Follow this street until you see a small staircase on your left, which leads you down to Escadas do Quinchorro.
