If you are in Coimbra city center, start at the Praça do Comércio. Head south on Rua Ferreira Borges until you reach Rua da Sofia. Turn left onto Rua da Sofia and continue straight until you reach the University of Coimbra. Once inside the university grounds, follow the signs towards the Botanical Garden (Jardim Botânico). You will see the entrance to the Mata do Jardim Botânico da Universidade de Coimbra on your left, at R. Olivença 147.

From the main bus station, take bus number 34 towards 'S. Martinho do Bispo'. Get off at the 'Universidade' stop. From there, walk straight ahead towards the university entrance. Once inside, follow the signs for the Botanical Garden (Jardim Botânico). The entrance to the Mata do Jardim Botânico da Universidade de Coimbra will be on your left at R. Olivença 147.
