Car
From Ericeira, head southeast on the N247 road towards the A21 motorway. Merge onto the A21 and follow the signs for Lisbon. Continue on the A21 until you reach the junction with the A2 motorway. Merge onto the A2 towards Lisbon and follow it for about 30 km. Take exit 4 towards Alcântara/Lisbon and continue onto the 25 de Abril Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow signs for Av. da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach Av. da Liberdade. The Monument to the Dead of the Great War will be on your right.

Public Transportation
From Ericeira, take the bus number 480 (Mafra - Lisbon) from the Ericeira bus station. The ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the Campo Grande bus station in Lisbon. From there, transfer to the Metro and take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at the Avenida station. Exit the station and walk south on Avenida da Liberdade for about 5 minutes. The Monument to the Dead of the Great War will be on your left.
