    If you are driving from the center of Ericeira, head southeast on Rua das Fontainhas toward Rua da Liberdade. Continue for about 1.5 km until you reach the N247. Turn left onto N247 and follow it for approximately 16 km. Take the exit toward A21/Lisboa and merge onto A21. After about 10 km, take the exit toward A2/Lisboa. Merge onto A2 and follow the signs to Lisbon. As you approach Lisbon, take the exit for E1 toward Lisboa. Continue on E1 for about 7 km, then take the exit for Alcântara. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Av. de Ceuta, and follow the signs for the Cais do Sodré area. As you approach the waterfront, turn left onto Rua da Junqueira. Continue straight until you reach Largo dos Jerónimos, where the Tropical Botanical Garden is located.

Take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia and get off at the 'Jardim Zoológico' station. From there, transfer to the 28 tram at the 'Praça de Espanha' stop. Ride the tram until you reach 'Jardim da Estrela' stop. Walk along Rua da Estrela and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Junqueira. Turn right, and you will find the Tropical Botanical Garden at Largo dos Jerónimos.
