Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Lisbon, take the A2 motorway southbound. Follow signs for Setúbal and merge onto the A12 highway towards Sesimbra. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Sesimbra (N378). Continue on N378, which will lead you directly into the town of Sesimbra. Once in Sesimbra, follow the signs for the beach (Praia de Sesimbra). The beach is located at Av. dos Combatentes 19, 2970-636 Sesimbra. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur a fee during peak tourist season.

  • Public Transportation (Train and Bus)

    From Lisbon, you can take a train from the Lisbon (Rossio or Entrecampos) station to Setúbal. The train ride takes about 50 minutes. Once in Setúbal, transfer to the bus (TST - Transportes Sul do Tejo) heading to Sesimbra; the bus ride takes about 30 minutes.
