From Faro, head to the Faro bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Faro) located at 3 minutes walk from the city center. Purchase a ticket for a bus to Lagoa, which takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lagoa bus station, you can either take a taxi or use a ridesharing service to reach Praia da Malhada do Baraço. The beach is approximately 15-20 minutes away by taxi. If you choose to walk, follow the directions below.

From the Lagoa bus station, exit onto Rua 25 de Abril and head north. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Follow this avenue until you reach the intersection with Estrada do Farol. Turn left onto Estrada do Farol and continue walking. Eventually, you will see signs directing you towards Praia da Malhada do Baraço. The walk takes around 45 minutes to an hour depending on your pace.
