Start your journey by locating the nearest metro station. If you’re at the Baixa-Chiado station, take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. After 3 stops, get off at the Avenida station. From here, transfer to the Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) at the Rato station, which is a short 5-minute walk from Avenida. At Rato, take the Yellow Line towards Odivelas and ride for 2 stops until you reach the Campo de Ourique station. Exit the station and head east along Rua do Arco do Cego until you reach R. da Escola Politécnica, where the museum is located at number 56.

You can also take a bus to reach the museum. If you're near the Praça do Comércio, catch Bus 758 or 727 towards Campo de Ourique. Get off at the 'Escola Politécnica' stop, which is just a short walk from the museum. Head east on R. da Escola Politécnica for about 5 minutes, and the museum will be on your left at number 56.

If you prefer a scenic route, take Tram 28, which is a popular route for tourists. Board the tram at Martim Moniz and ride until you reach the Campo de Ourique area. Get off at the 'Campo de Ourique' stop, then walk north on R. de S. Bento, transitioning into R. da Escola Politécnica. The museum will be located at number 56, approximately a 10-minute walk from the tram stop.

If you're already in the nearby Chiado or Bairro Alto district, you can walk to the museum. Head west on Rua da Misericórdia, then turn left onto Rua de São Bento. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with R. da Escola Politécnica.
