After the tunnel, keep right and follow the coastal road until you see signs for the beach. There is parking available near the beach, which may incur a small fee (usually around €1-2 for a few hours).

To reach Praia de São Vicente via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Funchal. The bus line 56 operates between Funchal and São Vicente. Check the latest schedule, as buses may run hourly or less frequently. The ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in São Vicente, you can walk to Praia de São Vicente, which is approximately 20 minutes away on foot. Follow the signs towards the coast, passing through the town until you reach the beach. Be prepared for some uphill walking as you navigate through the town.
