To reach Rabaçal by car, start from Funchal, the capital of Madeira. Take the ER101 road heading west. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach the junction with ER110. Turn left onto ER110. Follow ER110 for approximately 10 km until you see signs for Rabaçal. There is a parking area near the observation deck, but note that parking can be limited during peak tourist seasons. Be aware that there might be a parking fee, usually around €2-€5 for a few hours.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Funchal to Calheta. Bus number 80 operates this route. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. After arriving in Calheta, you'll need to transfer to a local taxi or a ride-sharing service to reach Rabaçal, as public bus services do not directly go to the observation deck. The taxi ride will take about 20 minutes and cost approximately €15-€20. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
