Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Ponte de Lima, head towards the main square (Praça da República). From the square, walk north along Rua Dr. José de Lima, passing by local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Turn left onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and walk straight for about 300 meters. You will see the beautiful riverside park on your right. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the end of the avenue. Take the first exit onto Avenida António Feijó. The Estátua de Dona Teresa is located on your right side after a short walk. Look for the prominent stone sculpture, which is easily recognizable.
