Train
From Porto city center, head to São Bento train station. Purchase a ticket to Barcelos, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Barcelos station, exit the station and head northeast on Rua da Estação towards Rua Miguel Bombarda. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida da Liberdade and keep walking until you reach the Museu da Olária (Museum of Pottery) located at R. Cónego Joaquim Gaiolas. The museum will be on your left.

From Porto, go to Campo 24 de Agosto bus terminal. Look for the bus company that services Barcelos, typically the bus number 805 or similar. The bus journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Barcelos, disembark at the main bus station. From there, head northeast on Rua da Estação for about 300 meters. Turn left onto Avenida da Liberdade and walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the Museu da Olária (Museum of Pottery) at R. Cónego Joaquim Gaiolas.

Take the metro from any central Porto metro station (like Trindade or Aliados) to the 'Campanhã' station. Here, transfer to the train towards Braga and get off at Barcelos station. Upon exiting the station, head northeast on Rua da Estação for about 500 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters until you arrive at the Museu da Olária (Museum of Pottery) at R. Cónego Joaquim Gaiolas.
