Car
If you're driving from the center of Serra de Sintra, head southeast on R. Dr. Alfredo da Costa toward R. da Liberdade. Continue straight onto R. da Liberdade and take a left onto N247. Follow the signs for the A16 highway. Merge onto A16 and then take the exit toward A5/Lisboa. Merge onto A5 and continue until you reach Lisbon. As you get closer to Lisbon, follow the signs for Cais do Sodré. Once you get to Cais do Sodré, follow the signs for R. Cais de Alfândega Velha. You will find the Lisbon Earthquake Museum at R. Cais de Alfândega Velha 39.

To reach the Lisbon Earthquake Museum using public transportation, start by taking the train from Sintra Station to Rossio Station in Lisbon. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio Station, exit and walk to the Rossio metro station. Take the Metro (Green Line) towards Cais do Sodré. After about 5 stops, get off at Cais do Sodré station. From there, exit the station and walk towards R. Cais de Alfândega Velha. The museum is located at R. Cais de Alfândega Velha 39, just a short walk from the metro station.
