Car
If you are driving from the center of Sintra, head southeast on Rua do Comércio towards Rua da Ferraria. Continue on this road as it becomes Rua Visconde de Juromenha, then turn left onto N375. Follow the N375 for approximately 1.5 km, then turn right onto Estrada da Monserrate. The Park and Palace of Monserrate will be on your left after about 500 meters. There is parking available near the entrance, but note that it may incur a fee.

From Sintra railway station, take the Scotturb bus line 435 towards 'Palácio da Pena'. Get off at the stop 'Monserrate', which is approximately a 15-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes down the road to reach the entrance of the Park and Palace of Monserrate. Be sure to check the bus schedule as services may vary throughout the day.

If you are already in the vicinity of the center of Sintra and prefer to walk, take the Rua da Ferraria towards N375. Continue straight on N375 for about 1.5 km until you reach Estrada da Monserrate. Turn left here and walk for another 500 meters. The entrance to the Park and Palace of Monserrate will be on your left. This walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes, offering beautiful views along the way.
