When you arrive at Algés, exit the station and walk towards the coast, following the signs for 'Praia da Cruz Quebrada'. The beach is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.

Head to the Setúbal bus terminal, which is near the city center. Look for the bus line that goes to Algés; there should be signs indicating the routes. Buy a ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver. The bus ride to Algés takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Algés, get off at the stop closest to the coast, and then follow the pathway leading to Praia da Cruz Quebrada, which is just a short walk away.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy a long walk, you can walk from Setúbal to Algés. The distance is approximately 30 kilometers and will take about 6-7 hours. Start by heading towards the waterfront and follow the riverbank. Keep walking north along the waterfront trail, which offers beautiful views. You will eventually reach the outskirts of Algés. From there, follow the signs to Praia da Cruz Quebrada, which is easily accessible.
