Getting There

Walking
If you are at the Setúbal train station, exit the station and head towards Avenida Luísa Todi. Walk straight along this avenue until you reach Praça do Brasil. From there, continue straight onto Rua de Nossa Senhora da Anunciada. Keep walking until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, turn right and walk along the promenade towards the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, board the ferry for Lisbon. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Cais do Sodré in Lisbon, exit the terminal and walk to the nearby metro station (Cais do Sodré). Take the green metro line towards Telheiras and get off at the Rossio station. Exit the station and head towards Praça do Rossio. From there, walk towards Rua do Ouro and then to Rua da Prata, continuing until you find Largo de São Vicente. The Mosteiro de São Vicente de Fora will be a short walk from there.

Bus
At Setúbal bus station, look for a bus heading to Lisbon. The bus journey typically takes around 50 minutes. Make sure to get off at Sete Rios bus terminal in Lisbon. From Sete Rios, you can take the metro. Head to the Jardim Zoológico metro station and take the blue line towards Santa Apolónia. Change at the Baixa-Chiado station to the green line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at the next station, Rossio. From Rossio station, exit and walk towards Praça do Rossio, continuing to Rua do Ouro and then to Rua da Prata until you reach Largo de São Vicente. The Mosteiro de São Vicente de Fora will be nearby.

Train and Walking
From Setúbal, take the train from the Setúbal train station to Lisbon (Lisboa) Gare do Oriente. The train journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Gare do Oriente, follow the signs for the metro. Take the red line towards São Sebastião and transfer at Alameda station to the green line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at Rossio station. After exiting Rossio station, walk towards Praça do Rossio, then head to Rua do Ouro and continue along Rua da Prata until you reach Largo de São Vicente. The Mosteiro de São Vicente de Fora will be a short distance away.
