From the center of Sintra, head to the Sintra bus station (Estação de Autocarros). You can easily reach this station by walking from the historic center (approximately 10 minutes). Once at the bus station, take bus number 440, which goes to Oeiras. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to stay alert for your stop; you will want to disembark at the 'Oeiras' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Estação Agronómica.

Make your way to the Sintra railway station (Estação de Comboios de Sintra), located near the historic center (around 15 minutes on foot). Purchase a ticket for Oeiras, and board the train heading towards Lisbon. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Oeiras station, exit the station and follow the signs to Estação Agronómica, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to explore, you can walk from Sintra to Oeiras. This route will take you through beautiful landscapes but can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Start from the center of Sintra and head towards the main road (N247). Continue following N247 until you reach Oeiras. Keep an eye out for signs that indicate you are nearing your destination, and once in Oeiras, look for Estação Agronómica.
