    If you're starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Turn right and walk straight until you reach the bus stop for the 434 bus. Take the bus towards the city center (Sintra). After about 20 minutes, the bus will bring you to the Sintra city center. From there, you can either walk or take a tram towards Lisbon. If walking, head to the direction of the Sintra National Palace and walk downhill towards the main road (Rua da Ferraria).
