Getting There

    From your current location in Bayamón, find the nearest bus stop that services the routes towards Toa Baja. Look for the 'AMA' (Autoridad Metropolitana de Autobuses) bus line. Take the bus towards Toa Baja, which will typically take about 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Isla de Cabras or FVC7+9FF, PR-870. Once you get off, walk towards PR-870. The Isla de Cabras National Historic Site will be within walking distance along this road.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Bayamón Plaza or the Central Park of Bayamón, you can start walking towards the PR-2 road. Head towards the north until you reach the intersection with PR-870. You will have to walk about 4-5 kilometers, which might take around an hour. Once you reach PR-870, continue to head west until you find the Isla de Cabras National Historic Site, which will be on your right side.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Bayamón towards Toa Baja. Start from the Bayamón central area and head northwest towards PR-2. Once you reach PR-2, take a left turn and follow the road until you get to the PR-870 intersection. From there, continue on PR-870 heading west for about 2-3 kilometers. The Isla de Cabras National Historic Site will be on your right.
