Walking
From the center of Cabo Rojo, head towards the Cabo Rojo Plaza. Once you reach the plaza, look for bus stops or taxi stands where you can catch a public transport vehicle. Buses that go towards Lajas or Boquerón frequently stop here. Look for a bus with 'Lajas' or 'Boquerón' on its sign. Once you board, inform the driver that you are going to Bosque Estatal de Boquerón. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.

When you arrive at the bus stop in Lajas, you will need to walk. Exit the bus and head southeast on Route 116. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Bosque Estatal de Boquerón. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the nature preserve.

If you are comfortable on a bicycle, you can rent one in Cabo Rojo. Start at the Cabo Rojo Plaza and proceed towards Route 100. Head west on Route 100 until you reach Route 116.
