Car
From Narragansett Beach, head northwest on Ocean Road toward Narragansett Avenue. Continue on Ocean Road, which will eventually merge into Route 138. Follow Route 138 for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit toward Newport and merge onto Route 24 N. Follow Route 24 until it merges into US-1 N. Continue on US-1 N for about 5 miles, then take the exit for RI-138 E toward Newport. Continue on RI-138 E until you reach Newport. Once in Newport, follow signs for Ochre Point Ave. The Breakers will be located at 44 Ochre Point Ave, Newport, RI 02840. Make sure to check for parking availability near the mansion, as parking can be limited.
Public Transportation
From Narragansett Beach, you can take the RIPTA bus #14 towards Newport. The bus will take you directly to Newport. Once you arrive at the Newport Transit Center, transfer to bus #67 towards Ocean Drive. Get off at the stop at Ochre Point Ave. From there, it's a short walk to The Breakers, located at 44 Ochre Point Ave. Make sure to check the RIPTA schedule for the latest bus times, as they may vary.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy biking, start from Narragansett Beach and head northwest on Ocean Road. Follow the same route as you would by car, utilizing the bike paths available. The ride is approximately 10 miles and will take you through scenic routes. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations. Once you reach Newport, follow signs to Ochre Point Ave. There are bike racks available at The Breakers to secure your bicycle.
