    From Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, head southwest on Sachuest Point Rd toward RI-138 E. Turn right onto RI-138 E and continue for about 5 miles. Merge onto US-1 N and follow for approximately 2 miles. Take exit 2A for RI-114 N toward Newport. Continue on RI-114 N, which becomes Admiral Kalbfus Rd. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Thames St. The Museum of Newport History & Shop will be on your left at 127 Thames St.

    From the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, walk to the nearest bus stop on RI-138 E. Take the RIPTA bus #60 or #67 heading towards Newport. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to the #67 bus towards Thames St. Get off at the Thames St & America’s Cup Ave stop. The Museum of Newport History & Shop is a short walk from the bus stop; head south on Thames St, and you will find it at 127 Thames St.
