    From the New Bedford Whaling Museum located at 18 Johnny Cake Hill, head west on Johnny Cake Hill toward William St. Turn left onto William St and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Coggeshall St. Continue straight onto Coggeshall St. After about 0.5 miles, take a right onto Route 6 (also called State Road) and walk along it. You will need to cross the bridge to get to Fairhaven. Once you cross the bridge, you will enter Fairhaven, where you will need to continue walking for about another mile. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Route 195 East. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will hit Exit 18 for Route 24 North toward Fall River. You will continue on this route until you reach the exit for Newport. Once on Newport Road, keep going straight until you reach Farewell St. Turn left on Farewell St and walk for about 0.2 miles until you reach 21 Farewell St, the Great Friends Meeting House.

    Start at the New Bedford Bus Terminal located at 134 Union St. Take the Peter Pan Bus Line heading towards Providence, RI. This bus will take you to the Newport area. Once you arrive at the Newport Bus Terminal, exit and walk towards America’s Cup Avenue. From there, turn left and walk until you reach Farewell St. Turn right onto Farewell St and continue walking until you reach 21 Farewell St, the Great Friends Meeting House.
