If you are starting from downtown New Bedford, head north on Purchase Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Union Street. Turn left onto Union Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Route 18. Cross Route 18 carefully and continue onto the pedestrian path that leads to the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. From there, head east towards the ferry terminal, where you can catch a ferry to Newport, RI. The ferry ride will take you directly to Newport, where you will disembark at Perrotti Park. From Perrotti Park, head north on America's Cup Avenue, then take a left onto Spring Street. The United Baptist Church will be on your right at 30 Spring St.
