Getting There

    Start from Yawgoo Valley Ski Area & Water Park. Head southwest on Yawgoo Valley Rd toward Rte 138. Turn right onto Rte 138 W and follow it for about 7 miles. Merge onto I-95 S toward New York. Stay on I-95 S for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 1 for Rte 1 S toward Narragansett. Continue on Rte 1 S for about 15 miles until you reach the exit for Rte 1A N towards Watch Hill. Follow Rte 1A N for about 4 miles until you reach Fort Rd. Turn right onto Fort Rd, and the Napatree Point Conservation Area will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, and there may be a small fee for parking during peak seasons.

  • Public Transportation

    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area & Water Park, you can take a bus to Westerly. Walk to the nearest bus stop and take the RIPTA bus #66 toward Westerly. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Westerly train station, transfer to the Westerly local bus that goes to Watch Hill. The local bus will drop you off near Fort Rd. From there, it's a short walk to Napatree Point Conservation Area. Be sure to check the bus schedule as service may be limited during off-peak hours.
