    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, head southwest on Yawgoo Valley Rd toward RI-138 W. Turn right onto RI-138 W and continue for about 12 miles. Merge onto US-1 S and follow for approximately 8 miles. Take the exit for RI-138 E toward Newport. Continue on RI-138 E for about 5 miles until you reach Newport. Follow signs for the harbor area. Once in Newport, follow the waterfront road (America's Cup Avenue) until you see signs for the Newport Harbor Lighthouse. There is parking available near the harbor.
