Walking
Start at the center of Gisenyi, near the main market. Head southwest on Avenue du Lac towards the lake. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the lakefront. From there, take the first exit onto Rue de la Plage, which runs along the shoreline. Keep walking until you see a sign for the Gisiza recreation area. Follow the signs that will lead you along the shoreline until you reach the entrance of the recreation area.
Public Transport (Moto Taxi)
From any location in Gisenyi, you can hire a moto taxi. Tell the driver to take you to 'Gisiza recreation area', or show them the coordinates: 39V5+V76, Unnamed Road, Colline Rugoti. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
