Getting There

Car
From the center of Karisimbi Volcano, head towards the town of Rubavu. Follow the main road leading out of the park and continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Rubavu. Once you reach Rubavu, navigate towards the coordinates 876H+JQ, which is the location of Cascade. You may need to ask locals for specific directions if the road signage isn't clear, as the area can be a bit tricky to navigate.

Public Transportation
From the entrance of Karisimbi Volcano, look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Rubavu. These vehicles typically wait near the entrance or in designated spots around the park. The fare to Rubavu should be around 1,000 RWF (Rwandan Francs). Once you arrive in Rubavu, you will need to either walk or take a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to the coordinates 876H+JQ. The motorcycle taxi should cost approximately 500 RWF. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your ride.
