From the park's entrance, drive towards the town of Musanze and continue on the road for about 30 minutes. Look for signs pointing towards Mukingo. As you approach Mukingo, keep an eye out for the coordinates FHFF+P2. Once you arrive in Mukingo, follow the local signage leading to Redrocks Cultural Village. There is no entry fee for the village, but parking may incur a small fee, typically around 1,000 RWF.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a shared taxi (commonly referred to as a 'moto') from your location within Volcanoes National Park to the nearest bus station in Musanze. The fare for this trip is usually around 1,500 RWF. Once in Musanze, look for a bus heading to Mukingo. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes and cost around 500 RWF. After arriving in Mukingo, you can either walk (about 15-20 minutes) to Redrocks Cultural Village by following the local paths or hire a motorcycle taxi (known locally as an 'okada') for a small fee, around 1,000 RWF.
