If you are driving your own car or have rented a vehicle, start from the main entrance of Volcanoes National Park, located near Kinigi. Head towards the Ruhengeri road (Route Nationale 4) and follow the signs to Musanze. After approximately 12 km, turn right onto the road leading to Singita Volcanoes National Park. Continue on this road for about 5 km. You will see signage for Singita Kataza House. The house is located near the main lodge area.

To reach Singita Kataza House using public transportation, first take a bus from Kigali to Musanze (Ruhengeri). The bus ride takes around 2-3 hours and costs approximately 2,000-3,000 Rwandan Francs. Once you arrive in Musanze, hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto') or a local taxi to take you to Singita Volcanoes National Park. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride; typically, it should cost around 5,000-10,000 Rwandan Francs for the trip. Inform the driver that you are heading to Singita Kataza House, which is approximately a 30-minute ride from Musanze.
