From the center of Chiesanuova, head southwest on Via della Libertà toward Via della Repubblica. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Via del Monte. Turn left onto Via del Monte and walk for another 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful countryside views. When you reach the next intersection, turn right onto the main road, Strada Statale 73 bis. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, and then look for the signs directing you to Urbino. As you approach Urbino, follow the signs for Borgo Mercatale. The landmark Porta Valbona is located at Borgo Mercatale, 25.
