To reach Podersdorf Lighthouse from Bratislava, start by taking a bus from the Mlynské Nivy Bus Station. Look for a bus that goes to 'Podersdorf am See'. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Podersdorf am See bus stop, exit the bus and walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes towards the lakefront. The lighthouse will be visible as you approach the waterfront.
Train and Walk
Begin your journey at the Bratislava Main Train Station (Hlavná stanica). Take a train towards 'Neusiedl am See'. After about 1 hour, get off at the Neusiedl am See station. From there, you can take a local bus (line 120) to Podersdorf am See, which takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Podersdorf am See bus stop, walk straight towards the lake, and you will see the Podersdorf Lighthouse a short distance ahead.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Bratislava and take the EuroVelo 13 route towards Austria. Follow the designated bike paths towards the border and continue towards Podersdorf am See. The cycling route will take you through beautiful countryside and should take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Podersdorf, follow the signs to the waterfront where the lighthouse is located.
Walking
Although it is a long distance, adventurous travelers can choose to walk from Bratislava to Podersdorf am See. Start from the city center and follow the Danube River towards the east. This scenic route will take you through the countryside and along the riverside, but be prepared for a significant walk of over 50 kilometers, which may take the better part of a day.
