Follow the signs for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the parking area at Palenica Białczańska. Note that there is a parking fee of around 30 PLN per day. From the parking area, you will need to hike approximately 8 kilometers along a well-marked trail to reach Czarny Staw under Rysy. The hike takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kraków to Zakopane. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once in Zakopane, you can take a local bus to Palenica Białczańska or a taxi. The local bus will drop you off at the parking area where the trail begins. Similar to driving, you will need to hike approximately 8 kilometers to reach Czarny Staw under Rysy, which takes about 2-3 hours.

From the parking area at Palenica Białczańska, follow the blue trail that leads you to Morskie Oko. After reaching Morskie Oko, continue on the trail that leads towards Rysy. The last stretch to Czarny Staw under Rysy involves some steep sections, so be prepared for a moderate to challenging hike. Make sure to wear sturdy hiking boots and bring plenty of water and snacks.
