Train
From Cape Town city center, head to the Cape Town Railway Station. Purchase a ticket for the Simon's Town train on the Southern Line. The train departs regularly, and the journey to Simon's Town takes approximately 1 hour. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive at Simon's Town station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the waterfront. Continue walking towards the harbor, and you will find signs directing you to Cape Point Nature Reserve.

Take the MyCiTi bus from the Cape Town city center. Board the bus at the Cape Town Civic Centre stop (close to the main station). You will need to take the bus towards Hout Bay and get off at the Fish Hoek stop. From there, transfer to the local bus service that goes to Simon's Town. Once you arrive in Simon's Town, follow the signs towards the waterfront and then to Cape Point Nature Reserve, which is a short walk from the town center.

For a more direct route, you can request an Uber or a local taxi from anywhere in Cape Town. Simply input 'Cape Point Nature Reserve' as your destination. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the reserve. Be sure to confirm with your driver that they are familiar with the location.

Walking (from Simon's Town)
If you are already in Simon's Town, you can walk to Cape Point Nature Reserve. From the center of Simon's Town, head towards the main road (Main Road) and follow the signs for Cape Point. The walk is about 8 kilometers and will take roughly 2 hours. It’s a scenic route, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
