Start at the main entrance of Kiawah Island. Head west on Kiawah Island Parkway towards River Road. Turn left onto River Road and continue straight for about 2 miles. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto SC-700/Wadmalaw Island Road. Follow SC-700 for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 17. Merge onto Highway 17 North and continue for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 20B toward Ashley River Road. Merge onto Ashley River Road and continue for about 5 miles. Middleton Place Equestrian Center will be on your left at 4280 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414.

From Kiawah Island, you can take the local shuttle service (if available) to the nearest bus stop on Highway 17. Once at the bus stop, catch the CARTA (Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority) bus route that goes toward Charleston. Make sure to check the current bus schedule. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection with Ashley River Road. From there, you may need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach Middleton Place Equestrian Center at 4280 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414.
