    If you are in downtown Summerville, head towards Main Street and walk south until you reach the intersection with Railroad Avenue. Turn right onto Railroad Avenue and continue walking until you reach the Summerville Train Depot. From there, follow the signs to the Summerville bus station located on West 2nd North Street. Take the bus to Charleston. Once you arrive in Charleston, exit the bus and walk south on King Street. Turn left onto Ashley Avenue. After about 0.5 miles, you will see Colonial Lake Park on your right at 46-54 Ashley Ave.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Summerville. Start your ride by heading south on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach Railroad Avenue and make a right. Follow Railroad Avenue to the Summerville Train Depot, then take the trail leading to the Charleston bike path.
