From any location within the Angostura Recreation Area, head towards SD-79 N. Follow the signs to Angostura Dam. Once on SD-79 N, continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Angostura Road. Turn left onto Angostura Road and continue for about 2 miles. The Angostura Dam will be on your right. There is no entry fee for accessing the dam area, but parking may be limited during peak seasons.
