From Angostura Recreation Area, head north on SD-79 toward Hot Springs. Continue on SD-79 for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with US-18. Turn right onto US-18 and continue east for about 9 miles. Merge onto I-29 N toward Sioux Falls. After about 40 miles, take exit 71 for SD-48 toward Canton. Turn left onto SD-48 and continue for about 5 miles. Finally, turn left onto 482nd Ave. Newton Hills State Park will be on your right at 28767 482nd Ave, Canton, SD 57013.
