Car
From Crazy Horse Memorial, head south on SD-244 towards Custer, SD. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach the junction with US-16. Turn right onto US-16 and follow the signs for Custer. After approximately 2 miles, you'll see signs for Black Hills National Forest. There are several entrances to the forest, depending on where you want to go, but the nearest entrance is just a couple of minutes off US-16.
