Walking
From the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, head south towards SD-244 E. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with US-16A. Turn left onto US-16A and continue for about 1 mile. You will then see signs for Keystone, SD. Once you reach the town of Keystone, continue straight onto Winter St for about 0.5 miles. The 1880 Train - Keystone Depot will be on your left at 103 Winter St.
Public Transportation
Start at the Mount Rushmore National Memorial and look for the nearest shuttle stop. Take the shuttle to Keystone, which operates seasonally. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Keystone, disembark at the main stop. From there, walk south on Winter St for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the 1880 Train - Keystone Depot at 103 Winter St.
