Walking
Start from the Mount Rushmore National Memorial Visitor Center. Exit the center and head northwest on SD-244 W. Continue walking on SD-244 W for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-16 Scenic. At this intersection, turn left onto US-16 Scenic.
