If you're traveling by car, head towards Pierre, SD. From Rapid City, take US-16 E and merge onto I-90 E. Follow I-90 E to SD-34 E in Murdo. Take exit 192 from I-90 E, then continue on SD-34 E, which will take you directly into Pierre. Once in Pierre, turn onto E Dakota Avenue, and the South Dakota National Guard Museum will be located at 301 E Dakota Ave on your right. There is no entry fee to the museum.

Once you arrive at the Pierre bus station, you can either walk to the museum, which is approximately 1.5 miles away, or you can use local taxi services for a short ride. If you choose to walk, head east on E Sioux Ave, then turn right onto E Dakota Ave; the museum will be on your left.
