Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Pierre Visitor Information Center at 800 W Sioux Ave, walk east on Sioux Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S Dakota Ave. Turn right onto S Dakota Ave and continue south for approximately 0.3 miles. You will then turn left onto E Lacey Ave and walk for another 0.2 miles. Continue straight, and shortly after you will arrive at the Arzberger National Historic Landmark, which will be on your left.

    Start from the Pierre Riverwalk near the Pierre Boat Ramp. Head east along the riverfront on the bike path for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with E North St. Turn left and bike up E North St for about 0.3 miles until you reach S Dakota Ave. Turn right onto S Dakota Ave and continue south for another 0.2 miles. Then, turn left onto E Lacey Ave, and you will see the Arzberger National Historic Landmark on your left after a short distance.
