For those using public transportation, the most convenient way to reach Cheonggyecheon is via the subway. Start by finding your nearest subway station in Gyeonggi Province. You will want to take Line 1 (the blue line) towards Seoul Station. At Seoul Station, transfer to Line 4 (the light blue line) and head towards Dongdaemun Station. Get off at Dongdaemun Station and use Exit 5. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Cheonggyecheon. Be aware that a single subway fare costs approximately 1,250 KRW, and you may need to purchase a T-money card (which costs an additional 2,500 KRW) if you don’t already have one.
