From anywhere in Seoul, make your way to the nearest subway station and take Line 1 (the Blue Line) towards 'Seodongtan'. If you're starting from a station on another line, transfer to Line 1 at one of the major transfer stations like 'Seoul Station' or 'Jongno 3-ga'. Alight at 'Dongdaemun Station' (동대문역). Take Exit 8 and walk straight for about 300 meters.

After exiting at Dongdaemun Station, continue straight on the main road and you will see the Dongdaemun Market area. Walk past the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) on your left. Keep walking until you reach the intersection, then turn right onto the street where you will see various shops. Continue walking for another 200 meters and you will see the entrance to Toy Alley on your left.

If you prefer to take a bus, find the nearest bus stop and take Bus No. 405 or 143, which stops near Dongdaemun Market. Make sure to get off at the 'Dongdaemun Market' bus stop. From there, walk towards the market area, following the signs that guide you to Toy Alley.

If you're closer to a taxi stand, you can also take a taxi directly to Dongdaemun Market. Simply tell the driver '동대문 시장' (Dongdaemun Sijang) or 'Toy Alley'. The taxi will drop you off at the main entrance of the market, from where you can easily reach Toy Alley by walking inside the market complex.
