Depending on your starting point in the Honam Region, take the Gwangju-Jeonju Expressway (Expressway 1) or the Honam Expressway (Expressway 25) towards Seoul. As you approach the city, follow signs for Gangnam District. Once you reach Bongeunsa-ro, look for parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited. Expect to pay for parking, which typically costs around 2,000 KRW per hour.

Public Transportation - Train
For public transportation, take a train from your nearest station to the Honam Region to Seoul Station. From there, transfer to Line 4 (the light blue line) towards Danggogae. Get off at the Gangnam Station and take Exit 6. From exit 6, you can either walk approximately 20 minutes to the statue or take a short taxi ride. The taxi fare should be around 5,000 KRW. After reaching Bongeunsa-ro, the statue will be a short walk away.

Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus from various locations in the Honam Region to Seoul. Look for express buses heading to the Seoul Central City Terminal. Once you arrive, take the subway Line 3 (the orange line) from the Express Bus Terminal to the Gangnam Station. From there, follow the directions as mentioned above. The bus fare will vary, but expect to pay around 10,000 KRW for the express bus tickets.
