From Insadong, head towards Insadong-gil Street. Walk along Insadong-gil until you reach the intersection with the main road, Samil-daero. Turn left onto Samil-daero and continue walking for about 5-7 minutes. You will see the entrance to Cheonggye Plaza on your right, just before you reach the Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Subway
If you prefer to take the subway, walk from Insadong to Anguk Station (Line 3). It’s about a 10-minute walk. Once at Anguk Station, board the subway towards Daehwa Station. Travel for one stop and get off at Jongno 3-ga Station. At Jongno 3-ga, transfer to Line 5 and take the train towards Banghwa. Get off after one stop at Gwanghwamun Station. From Gwanghwamun Station, exit via Exit 6 and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Cheonggye Plaza.

For those who prefer bus travel, find the nearest bus stop in Insadong. Look for buses 109, 150, or 162. Take any of these buses heading towards Gwanghwamun. After approximately 5-10 minutes, get off at the Gwanghwamun stop. From there, walk towards Cheonggye Plaza, which is just a 5-minute walk straight down Seorin-dong.
