If you are driving from Naejangsan National Park to Mudeungsan National Park, start by exiting Naejangsan and head towards the nearest major road, the National Route 1 (also known as the Gwangju–Naju Expressway). Follow the signs for Gwangju and merge onto National Route 1. Continue driving for approximately 45 kilometers (about 40 minutes). Take the exit towards Buk-gu and follow the signs for Mudeungsan National Park. The park entrance is located at Mudeung-ro, 1550, Gwangju. Make sure to check for any toll fees on the expressway.

To reach Mudeungsan National Park using public transportation, first, take a bus from Naejangsan National Park to Gwangju. You can catch a bus from the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading to Gwangju, which typically take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Gwangju Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus (Bus No. 118 or 119) heading directly to Mudeungsan National Park. The local bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare, as it is usually around 1,200 KRW for the local bus.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a bus from Naejangsan National Park to Gwangju and then hire a taxi from the Gwangju Bus Terminal to Mudeungsan National Park. The bus journey to Gwangju takes about 1.5 hours, and then a taxi ride from the terminal to the park entrance will take roughly 20 minutes. Taxi fares may vary, but expect it to cost around 15,000 to 20,000 KRW depending on traffic.
